Hannah Ellis
Since releasing her Self-titled Debut EP last fall, Hannah Ellis has garnered some well-deserved attention, being named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country as well as one of Rolling Stone’s “Artist’s to Watch”. Her single “ILYSoWhat” premiered on CMT earlier this year, and has since been streamed over 1 million times on Spotify as well as being played “On the Horizon” on Sirius XM. This female country artist from Campbellsville, Kentucky grew up competing in every small town contest she could get into. It didn’t take long until she was opening for stars like Lee Brice & Jake Owen. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in late 2012, Hannah moved to Nashville. In 2015, she competed in Season 8 of The Voice and made it to the televised portion of the show before heading home. She signed with WordCountry Publishing later that year and has since received multiple country cuts by artists like Russell Dickerson and Danielle Bradbery. While writing full time, Hannah continued playing shows such as Gulf Coast Jam, CMA Fest, and the National Police Officer Memorial Service in Washington, DC. There she had the privilege of performing her song ‘Officer Down’ on the steps of the United States Capitol building in front of 50,000 people. At the end of 2017, she signed with Creative Artists Agency and has since opened for Dwight Yoakam, Montgomery Gentry, and Russell Dickerson, just to name a few. She recently released a video on CMT and VEVO for her brand new single “Home and a Hometown” that debuted on July 13th.
